Having coached for 10 years, educating athletes on ways to improve their performance through food is definitely one of my favorite things to do. If we are able to teach our young people to wield nutrition as a powerful weapon of self care and strength, they will have a relationship with their bodies and themselves based in acceptance and appreciation. They will make choices based on the natural needs and cues their bodies give them instead of the social cues they see around them.
Always bringing the fun
